Our Gardens
We delight in making gardens to brighten and beautify our town. Along the way we teach each other the finer points of horticulture, make new friends, play in the dirt with old friends, and get lots of fresh air, exercise and mud stains on our clothing. Passing motorists often honk their car horns and yell "thank you" to the workers. Some of us have that 'green thumb', some of us wish we did. On our work crews there's plenty of room for beginners and for seasoned hands.
Community Garden
Our gardens come in all sizes. The largest is over a quarter acre. The smallest is a window box .

Buck Island Road Garden
Our largest garden, at the corner of Buck Island Road and West Yarmouth Road, was created in 1994.

Forest Road Garden
This garden at Forest Road and Old Townhouse Road was designed and built in 2015. An earlier garden on the site was removed when the intersection was reconstructed. The bench was added in 2016.
